I get numerous appeals, mostly from India for a cause that is worthy to them. It could be for a scholarship fund; it could be to help a temple project; it could be an arts project; just to name a few. But, these are really dear to them. I publish all of them in Khabbar. Khabbar being a quarterly publication, sometimes, the urgency of the appeal is lost.

Recently, the response from Konkani families in North America for an appeal was overwhelming. The appeal was from the Gokarn Mutt Swamiji to get water samples from North America. It was accomplished even before I could publish it in Khabbar!

Hence, this idea came to me- If you are REALLY interested in helping, then join the “Khabbar Kares” email list. Any appeal I get, I will forward it to you. There is absolutely NO pressure. If you want to help, go ahead and if you don’t, no feelings are hurt.
